Squads for 2009/2010 Season

Swimmers should have received their letter stating which squad they will be placed in from September.  The letter included the squad criteria and a copy of the timetable.  Any queries should be directed to a member of the committee.

Tracksuits

We are in the process of having 3 different styles of tracksuits made so that the swimmers can vote on the one they like the best. Production of the selected suit will hopefully be ready in time for the Speedo. New Hats will be available soon for each squad.

Meets for 2009/2010

We have published the Competition Calendar showing the meets that WSC will be supporting for the different squads covering the first part of the season up to the Surreys in March.   A calendar covering the second half will be published in September.

Additional pool time

We hope by now that most members have seen the timetable for September.  Many thanks to those swimmers and parents that have provided suggestions and comments – all feedback is greatly appreciated. 

We have secured additional time for our younger swimmers in the early evening at Ibstock School in Clarence Lane.  Please see the updated timetable.

We are currently speaking to a number of local swimming venues and seeking additional pool times over and above those listed on the current timetable. This is with the aim of providing additional training sessions for the Seals, Dolphins and County squads. We hope to have some positive news shortly. Therefore the present timetable is likely to evolve further over the coming weeks to incorporate additional sessions.
